1. Appointment Scheduling
When you schedule your first visit with us, our friendly team will assist you in finding a convenient time for your appointment. We strive to accommodate your schedule and ensure minimal wait times prior to your appointment with Dr. Streets.

2. New Patient Forms
To expedite the check-in process, we recommend filling out our new patient forms ahead of time. You will receive a login Patient Portal link where pertinent paperwork can be completed in the comfort of your home.

3. Comprehensive Examination
During your first visit, Dr. Streets will conduct a thorough examination of your oral health. This may include X-rays, oral cancer screening, sleep and airway screening, and a discussion about your dental history and concerns.

4. Personalized Treatment Plan
Based on the examination findings, our dentist will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. We will discuss the recommended treatments and answer any questions you may have.

5. Follow-Up Appointments
Depending on your treatment plan, we will schedule follow-up appointments to ensure your oral health is on the right track. Our goal is to help you achieve your oral health goals.

Dental and Medical insurances often cover all or a portion of necessary dental treatment. However, the patient is also responsible for the remaining balances that insurance may not reimburse. Because we know budgeting and personal finances are important, we offer payment options for your essential dental care.

As a courtesy to our patients, we verify insurance coverage benefits and provide estimates on coverage prior to the start of any procedure. We will work closely with you to determine benefits as they apply to your treatment needs. While we accept and file all dental and medical insurance paperwork for our patients, we are also directly in-network with:

  • Tricare - United Concordia
  • Sun Life
  • BCBS of NC
  • Delta Dental Premier
  • Veterans Affairs
  • NC Medicaid

If you have insurance be sure that you thoroughly fill out ALL the pertinent information, and/or bring your insurance card with you at your first visit.

Please remember the contract is between you and your insurance carrier. Therefore you are ultimately responsible for all treatment-related charges. Our experience is that insurance companies can and will be arbitrary and capricious regarding the denial or the reduction in payment of benefits when dealing with us. The insured, if willing, can often get further than we can, when dealing with the insurance company's representative.
